Huge shout out to the Texas Boat World crew. I bought a used boat from the team and just let me say from start to finish it was a painless process. I contacted Scott form out of state to inquire about the boat and after several rounds of photos and questions a deal was struck. I let the team know when I would be there and made the 5hr drive to complete the purchase. Let me say that the boat was everything they said it was and them some. I got it home and put it on the water to discover a bad cable for one of the transducers and contacted Scott and Josh who overnighted a cable to me to ensure I was tournament ready. Fast forward a few months and I had some other issues, without going into the long details just let me say that Josh and his team went well above what you could expect from any other dealer to make it 100% right, to include a loaner boat for my upcoming tournament. Just received my 2024 Bass Cat, and once again notified Josh when I would be arriving and the boat was rigged, and water tested by the service department ready and waiting. Excellent customer service big thanks to Scott, Brittany, Danny, Josh and all the others I may not have personally met or spoke to that make Texas Boat World a class act.

We had a super experience at TBW. Bought our Bass Cat after owning another bass boat for 20+ years. From sales to rigging to finance to management, all around top notch. Would not hesitate to recommend or buy again. But, I think I'll keep this sweet looking Cat for a while.

Drove from Minnesota after weeks of working with the dealership to purchase a used Ranger bass boat that I was told would be EMACULATE upon arrival, only to find a boat that looked like it had been sitting in a corn field for a month when I got there. However, Josh and Brittney were amazing to work with in getting the deal done. This experience definitely makes me want to shop closer to home next time.

ok so i took my Mercury 250 2 stroke off my bass boat and bought a brand new Mercury 250 4 stroke to replace it. i called around for a Mercury dealer to install it. i was told anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks and they wanted my boat to sit there the whole time. i called texas boat world and they said 2 weeks. ok so i drop my boat off on saturday morning, got a couple of calls the following week for some issues that came up. the following monday i get a call and its ready to be picked up.Wahoo. parts and service people kept me in the loop and were a pleasure to work with..every time i push that start button it makes me smile..its the smoothist quitest motor on the planet.. thanks guys

I would like to give Cliff , Mary and Josh Brown a big up. I purchased my 2013 Ranger Z520 from them this past Friday and went fishing first thing Saturday morning. Ran into a couple of issues while out got in touch with them and took it to them right then. Upon arrival they assessed the problem was told they could take care of it since we had made the trip up from Waco and he did not want for us to have to come back again.

Buying A New Boat at Texas Boat WorldLong read but wanted to let any of you know that are considering buying a new boat THE single most important thing to consider when making your purchase is selecting a Dealer that is honest and will go to bat for you.I ordered a new 17 Ranger 521C with a G2 from Cliff Brown at Texas Boat World (TBW) in Harker Heights Texas. TBW is a four-hour drive for me but I had researched and chose Cliff based on input I had from several trusted friends and once I had talked with Cliff I knew this was where I wanted to do business. Sure there were other dealers closer that I had experience with from past boats but didnt think their after sales customer service was as good as it should have been.I took delivery in July and the boat was rigged perfectly so I was really excited to get it on the water. The first weekend I had the boat there were 2 or 3 random engine shutdowns and the cranking battery would completely discharged with the main disconnect switch off. Reported the problem to Cliff and I chose to put a new battery in it in case this may have been the problem and save me from hauling back to TBW. Once I put the boat back on the water it failed again.In August I sent email describing all issues to TBW, Ranger and BRP Customer Care while also addressing my concerns with the safety of the boat so Cliff asked that I returned the boat. He worked with both Ranger and BRP who then proceeded to work through an exhaustive list of continuity, circuit board, module/s, computer tests and checks. TBW pulled and/or replaced every wire, control module and circuit board possible in the boat to try to find the issue.After many many hours of on the water testing by TBW all the while Ranger and BRP both saying boat was fine as there was no new failures they insisted TBW give the boat back to me. However this time Cliff was not completely convinced and suggested that we give it one more test and fish a Big Bass tourney together. Last day of the tourney the boat failed again but this time Cliff was on board and was able to personally witness. He hauled the boat back and was extremely persuasive with Ranger and insist they make this boat good to me.Cliff informed me that Ranger will replace the boat and to use the old one until the new one came in. I did just that and took delivery of my second 2017 Ranger in January. At no cost to me TBW has now rigged two new boats and un-rigged the old one...never asked for a dime. I dont really want to get into all of the nitty gritty details and have glossed over a lot of what actually transpired between the TBW and boat/motor manufacturers but will assure you that if Cliff were not my dealer my outcome would have been much different.I am sure that many of you have your favorite dealer, or even a dealer that may be closer to you, but please do not sacrifice honesty, integrity and customer service for a few extra miles. Cliff never would tell me for certain but I suspect he had upwards of 150 hours of shop and test time invested that he most likely will never recoup, all in the vain of doing the right thing for his customer.The best part of this whole ordeal is that I made a new friend. I had been looking at new boats for a long time. This summer I had my eye on a Ranger z119. I came by several times and Josh showed me the boat and answered all of my questions on every occasion. Cliff,Hope all is well.I just wanted to take a moment to send you a note about your team and my experience earlier today.I had just pulled the boat out for a first of the season fishing outing on Lake Georgetown. When I started the engine I got three beep tones and the engine would not run correctly. I put it back on the trailer and returned home. Once home, I called and Josh answered, I explained my problem, even though he did not have any technicians available he offered to hook it up to the diagnostic system himself to see what was up. I hook up the boat and headed to your shop. When I arrived Josh and Jeremy hooked it up immediately. When they were unable to see anything wrong using the diagnostic system, Jeremy suggested that I take it to the lake to see if the problem would show up under actual use. He even offered that if it did act up he could run down to the lake and hook up the diagnostic system there. (This was at 2:20pm on a Saturday)When I got to the lake the boat ran fine no issues. He did not see my Tracker Pro Team 185 until I picked up my Triotn and he still allowed a good trade-in price. I had to drive over three hours one way to do busines, but it was well worth the drive.
